Shipping Information
We generally ship out orders within 2-5 business days of receiving them. We ship via USPS, and tracking numbers are provided via email once the order ships. Shipping timelines will display when choosing a shipping option at checkout.
Holiday Shipping
We will have limited shipping the week of Christmas through the 1st of January, so any new orders placed in that time frame may not be shipped until the first week of January. Happy Holidays!
We do our best to ship as quickly as possible. However, for any items shipped in the U.S. after December 10th, we cannot guarantee arrival by December 25th. Please order with enough time to receive shipments by the holidays.
This is not the case for international orders. Because international carriers have many more factors which can slow delivery such as customs, we cannot guarantee international deliveries will arrive by a specific date or in time for the holidays. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
International Shipping
Because we ship via USPS, international orders can only be tracked until they leave the US or (in rare cases) reach their port of entry. In some cases, international orders can take weeks or even a month to arrive due to customs or local mail services. If it has been longer than two months from your international order and you have not received the package, something is definitely wrong and you should contact us at team@daricefowler.com.
International Customs
We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Furthermore, to facilitate Customs clearance and to comply with local laws we may provide limited order, shipment, and product information to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to Customs authorities.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked “Gift,” but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
Custom Fees and VAT
When shipping goods to other countries, custom duty and import VAT may be applied on goods. The amount of customs duty is hard to predict as it is assessed at the point of entry of the destination country. Import charges can vary widely but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country. This may result in you having to pay additional charges which are not included in the total price displayed at checkout. The buyer is expected to pay these additional costs (including but not limited to duties, taxes, and customs clearance feeds).
Please note that Darice Fowler is not responsible for the collection or determination of any custom duties or import VAT costs. As the threshold for such charges may vary from country to country, please contact your local customs/tax office for further information.
Return & Refund Policy
E-books can be returned for a full refund within 48 hours of purchase if there are technical difficulties or the product was purchased by mistake. Simply email team@daricefowler.com and please be aware of our refund policy.
For physical orders, within 30 days of receipt of your shipment you may return, for any reason and for a full refund, any item in its original, resalable condition. You must additionally email team@daricefowler.com with your refund request and to inform us that you are returning the item.
Shipping products back to Darice Fowler: If a return is a result of an error made by Darice Fowler, we will provide a shipping label to you at our cost. For all other returns, customers are responsible for paying all return shipping costs.
